We went out to Freddie pretty early. We knew when everyone got out of church the strawberries would disappear. The produce guy and I had a good laugh out of it. He figured they would be gone by noon. We bought two pounds and got a coupon in the checkout line for a buck off our next purchase so we turned around and bought another pound for a mere fifty cents. We're sitting pretty on strawberries right now.
We also scored two big cans of Yuban. The inventory was mostly gone when we got there. We were lucky to get our two cans. I'd guess the remainder of the cans would have been gone within minutes after we were there. Lots of sharp-eyed shoppers heading for those deals.
Those buck fifty organic avos looked pretty good, too. It was a "hit and run" on Freddie--we just wanted strawberries and coffee--quite the combination, eh?
