As you know, we routinely bad mouth Food City's red bell peppers and went so far as to call them HO-scale peppers.  Well, imagine our abject surprise when we perused peppers Tuesday.  Hey, these puppies are the real deal.  Nice near-regulation size, fully ripened, deep rich red color and almost all of them were free of defects or strange weirdnesses.

And imagine our double surprise when we picked up next week's ads from our post office box and realized Food City has DROPPED the price during this upcoming week.  YIKES!  This is rich stuff.
