Basha's Exp March 21

Nothing worth making a special trip to Basha's this week. But if you're in the vicinity, here's what to look for. Comments below each photo.

The  grocers apparently are taking turn selling cheap Mexican asparagus.  Good Deal.  Beware that Basha's often sells asparagus so thick that the stems could easily be mistaken for a tree.  If they are fat stems, simply broil them and they will come out great.

Great deal on Shamrock Milk.  I bought one last Wednesday and it promptly leaked all over the fridge.  So check out whatever  container you pick out of the cooler.

Really good deal on red potatoes.  One of the other local grocers has them for  a buck a pound.  That should be  against the law on St/ Paddy's Day.  I can see price gouging on corned beef, but red potatoes?

Just in case you're running low on cow milk fat.

This is not a deal.  I bought a half pound of the chicken last Wednesday and wound up throwing half of it away.

We told you it was only a matter of time until froen fish sticks got down to three bucks.  Here 'tis.

This is an EXCELLENT froen pizza and we happily pay $5 for it.  For $4 makes us even happier!
